  Workforce Development Links Resources and Publications

NRCOI provides training and technical assistance (T/TA) on issues of workforce development to State and Tribal child welfare agencies. We assist agency administrators and human resource managers to critically assess and evaluate complex workforce development issues and make connections with appropriate resources.

Workforce development consists of a range of activities including: assessing the current child welfare workforce; planning, implementing and evaluating strategies for recruiting, selecting and training a qualified workforce; and addressing retention issues such as agency leadership, supervisory roles, and agency culture.
