  Continuous Quality Improvement Services:

The NRCOI’s training and technical assistance (T/TA) services help State and Tribal child welfare agencies develop and implement continuous quality improvement (CQI) systems and meet federal requirements for measuring child and family outcomes. A basic framework for CQI guides our approach to assessing and helping agencies develop and improve their CQI systems:

Specifically, we offer resources and technical assistance in the following areas related to CQI:

bullet Developing and implementing qualitative case review systems, such as the CFSR process
bullet Implementing model CQI practices and techniques from other State and Tribal agencies
bullet Training CQI staff to provide ongoing technical assistance and support in the agency;
bullet Using data and information in decision making at all levels of the agency (e.g., administrators, managers, supervisors and workers)
bullet Developing measurement strategies for CFSR Program Improvement Plans
