|Connect with Your Peers:
We bring colleagues from across the nation together via teleconference to share information on specific topics of interest. These calls are moderated but informal to allow for a comfortable and productive exchange of questions, ideas, and solutions.
Peer Training Network: Exchange ideas on all aspects of child welfare training with educators and child welfare trainers from other agencies. Participants have discussed such topics as new hire training models, supervisory training curricula, and training evaluation approaches.
Child and Family Services Review/Plan (CFSR/CFSP) Peer Network: State, local, and Tribal coordinators for the CFSR and CFSP discuss topics of interest, share peer learning, and provide constructive input regarding the Child and Family Services Review (CFSR) process, the five-year Child and Family Services Plan (CFSP), and the Annual Progress and Services Reports (APSRs).
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Peer Network: Participants share the experiences and build on the successes of other CQI staff. Each call highlights state and county successes in a specific topic area that includes a facilitated discussion focused on barriers, challenges, and strategies. Network participants lead the agenda development to focus calls on critical CQI issues.
Practice Model Peer Network: Participants working on developing and/or implementing a child welfare practice model in their respective States, Tribes, or counties discuss strategies and share resources.
Other Peer Networks: There are several other helpful child welfare-related peer networks sponsored by our colleagues in the T/TA Network. Please check them out and contact the appropriate organization for more details.
